No tracking, no consent banner
On model-relay.com we use no cookies for statistics, marketing or advertising, and we load no scripts from ad networks or social media. That is why we don’t ask for consent with a cookie banner. Our font is loaded from our own server, so no data goes to third parties. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection, configured without a clearance cookie.
What can happen
Signing in to the workspace. When you sign in, our API (api.model-relay.com) sets a session cookie so we know it’s you. Without it you can’t stay signed in. The cookie is strictly necessary for a service you ask for yourself.
Language preference. Web pages keep their language in the address (/en/… for English). The workspace has one address, so when you choose a language with the language button, we remember it in a “locale” cookie on model-relay.com for one year. The cookie is only set when you make that choice yourself and holds nothing but “nl” or “en”.
The chat on a business’s website. The chat sets no cookies itself and stores nothing in your browser’s local storage. The business that puts it on its website may use its own cookies on that site. That is covered in its cookie policy.
The rules
In Belgium, Article 129 of the Act of 13 June 2005 on electronic communications requires consent for cookies, except where they are strictly necessary to provide a service the user explicitly asks for. As long as we only use such cookies, no consent is required. If we ever use others, we’ll ask for your consent first and update this page.
Deleting cookies
You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Sign in again afterwards to use the workspace. You can read more about how we handle personal data in the privacy policy.
